Who operates the school

Free Tax School is operated by Taxaroo, 30 N Gould St, Suite N, Sheridan WY 82801. You can contact us at support@freetaxschool.com.

Information we collect

When you request the free course, we collect your first name, email address, state, the page that sent you, and the consent choices shown with the form. We also record the time and version of the consent language. Our systems may receive basic request data, such as an IP address, for security and audit purposes.

When paid enrollment opens, our course and payment providers may collect purchase, account, and payment information. Free Tax School does not store a full payment-card number on this site.

How we use it

We use your information to deliver lessons you requested, maintain course access, answer support requests, prevent abuse, keep required records, and improve the school. We use your state to enforce eligibility because we do not currently enroll California residents.

Email and your choices

The course-email checkbox authorizes the lessons and related Free Tax School updates described beside the form. Commercial messages include an unsubscribe route. You may also ask us to stop by emailing support@freetaxschool.com.

The partner-contact checkbox is separate, optional, and unchecked by default. We share your name, email, and state with a tax-education provider or hiring tax office only if you actively checked that box. Saying no does not affect access to the free course.

Service providers

The planned service providers are Cloudflare for site hosting and Turnstile abuse prevention, NocoDB for records, Resend or SES for email, Coursebox or another external course platform for course delivery, and Stripe or the course platform for payments. Turnstile receives request and browser signals, which can include an IP address, to determine whether a submission is legitimate. Each provider receives only the information needed for its role. The final provider list will be confirmed before live enrollment.

Sale and disclosure

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of that phrase. A future referral to an education provider or hiring office is allowed only under the optional consent described above, with the consent record retained. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or when needed to protect the site and its users.

Retention and security

We retain course, consent, purchase, suppression, and support records only as long as needed for operations, legal obligations, and honoring opt-outs. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can promise perfect security.

Cookies and analytics

The public site is designed to work without advertising cookies. If privacy-respecting analytics are enabled later, this policy and the site notice will identify them before use. The separate course platform may use essential cookies for sign-in and access.

Your rights

Email support@freetaxschool.com to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You can opt out of email without losing a purchase you already made.

Children and changes

The school is not directed to children under 16. We may update this policy as the course platform and service providers are connected. Material changes will be dated here and communicated when appropriate.
